       V.L. COX GIVES TO CENTERS
     Abstract artist's work in Splatters Auction

 
 

   
 
 

   The work of artist V.L. Cox of North Little Rock will be among the items up for bid at Splatters, an annual art auction event Oct.10 at Pleasant Valley Country club to Benefit Centers for Youth and Families.
   Cox, who lives in North Little Rock, has been painting for 26 years and now works full-time as an artist.  She creates powerful, textured, abstract pieces that represent movement, growth and geometric structure.  Her work can be found in private and corporate collections from Dallas to Washington, D.C.,

 

including the collections of Acxiom Corporation, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Quality Foods, Farmers Bank, One Banc, Henderson State University, Ouachita Baptist University and the collection of Judy Norrell.  She is represented in galleries in Hot Springs, Memphis, Scottsdale, Dallas, San Francisco and Sausalito, Calif.
